Not a guru. Just someone who sat down and stayed.
My mother took me to a Buddhist centre when I was young. The class was Vipassana meditation. I followed the teacher, sat on the cushion, closed my eyes — but I had no idea what I was doing. I was just sitting quietly, waiting for something to happen. Nothing did.
For years, meditation was something I did because I was told to. Not because I understood it.
In 2009, I met a teacher from the UK who was based in Nagaloka, India. He taught me Anapanasati — mindfulness of breathing. For the first time, someone showed me how to actually work with the breath. How to follow it, steady it, and use it as an anchor.
That was the first time I sat for over an hour and knew what I was doing. Not waiting. Not hoping. Practicing.
Anapanasati became my base. From there, I studied with teachers across traditions, explored Focus and Insight meditation, breathwork, and the contemplative arts. But everything returns to that first instruction: follow the breath.
In the following years, I met with various masters and learned from them. But what they gave me was not textbook knowledge. It was self-questioning.
They did not hand me answers. They taught me to look at my own mind, my own assumptions, my own resistance. To sit with discomfort until it revealed something true. To stop searching for peace and start meeting what is actually here.
This is what I bring to Stillseed. Not a method to copy, but a way of looking. Not answers, but better questions.
The depth and understanding I have gained cannot be achieved in a few hours of meditation. It comes from years of practice, self-questioning, and reflection. Sitting when it is easy. Sitting when it is hard. Returning to the breath when the mind screams for distraction.
This is why I am cautious of quick fixes. A weekend workshop can introduce you to the path, but it cannot walk it for you. Depth is not information. It is repetition. It is showing up. It is the slow accumulation of presence over time.
If you come to Stillseed expecting instant peace, I will disappoint you. But if you come willing to practice, to question, to reflect — then we have something real to work with.
I teach because I remember what it was like to sit and not know what I was doing. To want depth but find only confusion. To be told to "just breathe" without being shown how.
Stillseed exists because I believe meditation should not be mysterious. It should be practical, embodied, and available — whether you have twenty minutes or two weeks.

The name Stillseed comes from the Pali word Bija — seed, or intention.
A seed holds everything it needs to become a tree, but only with the right cultivation. Stillness is that cultivation. Through stillness, intention takes root. The roots grow deep — a foundation that cannot be shaken. Only then does the tree emerge above ground. Leaves follow. And when the time is right, fruit bears.
This is how practice works. You plant the seed of attention. You cultivate it through stillness. You do not rush the roots. You trust that what grows beneath the surface — unseen, unglamorous — is what makes the tree strong.
Stillseed is where intention meets stillness. Where what is planted in silence becomes what sustains you in noise.

What people ask before their first session.
No. Most of my students are beginners. I meet you where you are — whether you have never sat on a cushion or you have practiced for years. The only requirement is willingness.
Wear whatever is comfortable. You do not need special clothes, a meditation cushion, or any equipment. For coffee sessions, just bring yourself and an open mind. I provide everything else.
That is normal. The goal is not to stop thoughts — it is to change your relationship with them. I will teach you how to notice thinking without getting lost in it. This is a skill, not a talent. It develops with practice.
The techniques I teach come from Buddhist tradition, but you do not need to be Buddhist or religious to practice them. I teach meditation as a practical skill for modern life — attention, clarity, and presence. Students of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome.
Most students notice a difference in focus and calm after 3 to 4 sessions. But depth takes time. If you are looking for a quick fix, I will be honest: this is not it. If you are willing to practice, the changes are real and lasting.
